EDITORS WANTED

We are seeking passionate book editors for all genres of popular fiction. Job duties include analyzing manuscripts for logic, flow, characterization, tension and suspense and providing tactful feedback to the author to guide her/him through revision process, as well as formatting the manuscript for publication. All editing is done electronically.

Position requirements:

-Editing experience, particularly with popular fiction, preferred.
-A thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, as well as the elements of fiction writing.
-Strong written communication skills and plenty of tact.
-Must have Microsoft Word and a working knowledge of track changes.

This is a contract position and will be negotiated based on a % of royalties on Net book sales after author payout (only on the books you edited).

COPYEDITORS WANTED

Do you love to read? Are you a grammar geek? Ever long to fix the flow of someone else's prose with the proper placement of a comma? We might have just the job for you. An epublisher is seeking copyedits to proofread manuscripts for all genres of popular fiction. Job duties include checking the text for continuity, logic, grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and marking changes using Word's track change feature.

Position requirements:

-A thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
-Attention to detail and deadlines.
-Must have Microsoft Word and a working knowledge of track changes or the willingness to learn.
-Proofreading experience a plus.

This is a contract position and will be negotiated based on a % of royalties on Net book sales after author payout (only on the books you proofed).
